P.E. Credits for Band

Effective for the 2016-17 school year and onward, all SJ23 Band members will receive 0.5 P.E. credits for participating in band for a school year. This also means that all band members must fill out a Sports Participation and Physical Packet and an Archdiocesan Medical Form to partake in activities this year. Both of these forms can be found on the School Website or on the SJ23 Band website under the "Documents & Links" tab. These forms remain valid for one year before one needs to renew them. Fill these forms out over the summer so that way you will not need to worry about having to get another physical for band and any SJ23 sport or activity you may wish to participate in later on in the year.

The Crosthwait Student Center Now Open

With the opening of the new building, the SJ23 band received our own facilities. The band now has a practice room, instrument lockers, new chairs, and new stands. Also, we now have two storage closets and Ms. Elko has her own office space. Furthermore, there are two solo sound proof practice rooms and an ensemble practice room. Finally, we have doors that open up directly onto a small driveway where buses can park to make loading and unloading much easier.
